my journey
What I’ve learn for this whole three semester is quite challenging for me, especially in the process of learning of English language (BEL). And in this semester, I’ve been taught on how to make an essay starting from the outline, first draft , and the complete one. But now I just done my outline, and there’s still 2 thing to go and need to be done. Even I’d study on how to make a good essay with a good thesis statement and also the following paragraph since I’m in part one but I still can’t produce a good one. But that’s ok, because my mother always tell me to keep on what I’m doing and strive for what I want. So I can’t easily give up and I won’t wave a white flag very soon. So, at first I think in doing outline and the essay is not too hard, because usually I’ll make an essay by using my general knowledge and I’ll write whatever I know but now I think it’s different. It’s hard, now that I know it’s hard I’ll try to do my best. X_x
My lecturer for BEL 311 this semester, Madam Nazhatulshima binti Nolan ask us to make a cover CD and we also need to create our own album and choose one song as our hit song. For that hit song, I write a song about me, myself and the song title is A Girl Like Me. Well obviously, I really like in doing this kind of thing because I like singing. I think this activity is a good one and it make sense because student usually will feel bored if we only study according to the book so we need to have some interesting activities in the class. And one more thing, our lecturer said that we’ll decide who’s going to be the winner according to the categories. So we have the best performance, the best cover CD, the best lyric, and also the worst performance. But unfortunately, we still don’t know the winner and for the winner they’ll get a token of appreciation from our beloved lecturer. So, I can’t wait to find out who’s the winner. ^_-
Beside that activities, we are also have done the group discussion which I think it’s very interesting. I still remembered that day, because at that time that was my first class attending Madam Nazhatulshima class for BEL 311 so I kind of nervous because I heard from the seniors they said Madam Nazhatulshima is very strict and fierce but when I’m in her class I think what the seniors had told me is totally untrue because she’s not that strict and I like her. Back to the group discussion that I want to talk about just now, since it was my first class with her I thought she’s going to hate me because I didn’t come to her class for the previous weekend but luckily she’d not. Plus, she ask my group to present about the discussion in front of the class facing all the student. Well, the topic is about “without money and love our life will be chaotic”. That day, we’d discuss it and it was very wonderful and I’m loving it!
